Susanna Myrnerts Höök (MD) is a Pediatric Specialist at Sachs’ Children and Youth Hospital in Stockholm. She is currently a Postdoc in Global Health at Karolinska Institutet, Stockholm, Sweden. The focus of her research is on newborn care in low-income setting, newborn resuscitation, surfactant treatment and mHealth applications. She is active in the field in Uganda and Vietnam. She is also running projects evaluating the NeoTap software in both low- and high resource settings. She started the Tap4Life project 2015 with the aim to reduce early neonatal mortality. She is a Helping Babies Breathe master trainer.
